Italian Firms Seeking Presence in Iran despite Restrictions

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The trade commissioner of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) said that Italian companies favored presence in Iran despite the sanctions and current US-forces restrictions.

Speaking to Shana on the sidelines of the 24th Iran Oil Show, Augusto Di Giancinto said that ITA was a state-run organization which had offices in 70 countries.

“We are very glad to be present in Iran despite all the difficulties. Italian companies know the Iranian market and its potentialities well and seek to find a way to come to Iran.”

The 4-day showcase kicked off on May 1.
