RIPI Unveils Portable Environmental Pollution Detection Systems

TEHRAN (Shana) – The Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) Portable has unveiled detection systems of environmental pollutants.

According to RIPI, Jaber Neshati, head of the Energy and Environment Faculty of RIPI, on the sidelines of a ceremony to unveil the systems, said, "Environmental sensors are very diverse and can be exploited in various sectors of the oil industry.”

He stated that more than 30 kinds of portable sensors were used in the industry, adding that at RIPI, 17 types of these sensors were made with very high efficiency.

Neshati emphasized that the systems were built by efficient domestic manpower, hardware and software, adding: "RIPI is ready to develop the systems and commercialize them in the future.”

RIPI is the research arm of the petroleum industry in Iran and serves oil and gas companies in technologies spheres.
