Fuel Supply Normal in Northern Iran

TEHRAN (Shana) -- Representatives of Iran’s northern provinces said fuel supply was being carried out normally in the areas, calling on the people in their constituencies to avoid gasoline storage.

Mehrdad Baouj Lahouri, who represents the northern city of Langeroud in the Iranian parliament, told Shana that gasoline distribution was normal in his constituencies, adding fuel stations throughout the northern province of Gilan were in a normal state currently as there were no gasoline shortages in the province.  

Northern provinces are popular summer resorts in Iran consumption of fuel rises dramatically during the season.

The MP further stressed that no increases in the price of fuel were planned by the government.
