TEHRAN, Aug 09 (Shana) -- Managing Director of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) Adel Nejad-Salim said on Tuesday that Bou Ali Sina Petrochemical Plant has resumed activity.

Nejad-Salim told reporters that except the damaged unit, all the facility have resumed operation.

He said production in the paraxylene unit will resumed operations by next year once two new towers, being 60 meters high, come on stream.

He went on to say that the Bou Ali Sina Petrochemical Plant meets its monthly shortage of 50,000 to 60,000 tons of paraxyelene out of Borzouyeh Petrochemical Facility.

He added that correspondences have been made with two well-reputed Japanese and European companies to inform their views on the HSE.
