He said the unit will process 165,000 barrels of crude oil which is recovered from join oil fields in the West Karoon region including North and South Azsadegan, Jofeir, Yaran and Soosangerd oilfields.
Kamali said the unit encompasses three separation trains for separating gas and water from oil and stabilizing the crude.
Speaking of the North Azadegan development project, he said the power plant, drilling operations, gas plants, pipelines and oil processing facilities have come online for development of the field.
Arvandan operates nearly 50% of Iran's joint oil fields in western regions of the country.
