Doj said in the period under study, 40,000 tons of ethane and 18,500 tons of graded sulfur were produced in the refinery.
He noted that in the first quarter of this year, 2.425 billion cubic meters of gas, received from the platform of the Sixth Refinery, was refined.
He then said in the above referred to period, three billion cubic meters of gas were shipped to the nationwide pipeline for domestic consumption, a figure showing 47 percent growth compared to that in the match period the previous year.
To the end of his remarks, Doj said the third and fourth lines of sulfur recovery unit have been put into operation since start of this year thanks to efforts and endeavors of the experts of the Sixth Refinery.
