Iran Break Fuel Oil Export Record

TEHRAN, July 10 (Shana) – Iran exported 1.5 million tons of fuel oil in the month of Khordad (3rd month in the Iranian calendar year-May 21-June 20) which is a new record in the item's export.

Speaking to Shana, Head of the international affairs of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Mohsen Qamsari said Iran has been rising its fuel oil exports in the past few months with its climax reaching in the month of Khordad.

He said Iran is currently exporting nearly 10 million barrels of the item on a monthly basis.

The export cargoes are mostly destined to China and Singapore, he added. 

In the Asian market, the item is priced nearly $37 per barrel which is the lowest in the past three months.
