41,107 Tons of Polymer Exchanged in IME

TEHRAN, July 03 (Shana) – Some 41,107 tons of polymer were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) last week.

Shana quotes IME as reporting that studies shows that PVCs followed by polyethylene terephthalate were the favorites of the customers.

Petrochemical market experts believe that polyethylene terephthalate bottle grade  and production problems in the PVC production units were among reasons for growing demand for the products in the Exchange.

There were demands for 8,734 tons out of 3,014 tons of PVC 65 of Bandar Imam Petrochemical facility, that was on advance sale.
