214,456 Tons of Oil, Petrochemical Products Exchanged in IME

TEHRAN, July 03 (Shana) – A total of 214,456 tons of varying kinds of oil and petrochemical products, worth more than 2,709 billion rials, were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), showing increases of 53 percent in volume and nine percent in value.

 

Shana quotes IME as reporting that in the week to June 30, more than 365,543 tons of goods, worth more than 5,572 billion, were exchanged in the IME, indicating 12 percent increase in volume and four percent decline in value compared to the figures in the preceding week.

In the week under study, 129,664 tons of goods, worth close to 2,589 billion, were exchanged in the Industrial Products and Minerals Hall.

In the Hall, 121,390 tons of different kinds of steel, 4,895 tons of different kinds of copper, nine tons of precious metals' concentrates, 2,290 tons of aluminum, 80 tons of molybdenum concentrate and 1,000 tons of cement were purchased by the customers.

According to the report, in the Domestic and Export Sections of the Oil and Petrochemical Products Hall, 214,456 tons of different kinds of commodities, worth more than 2.7 billion rials, were sold, showing 53 percent growth in volume and nine percent in value.

In the Hall, 73,363 tons of different kinds of bitumen, 45,041 tons of polymer substances, 52,370 tons of vacuum bottom, 23,000 tons of lob cut, 17,322 tons of chemical substances, 350 tons of moisture insulator, 35,003 tons of sulfur and 10 tons of argon gas were traded.
