Iran Sends 2mb Crude Shipment to Poland

TEHRAN, July 02 (Shana) -- Director of the International Affairs Department at National Iranian Oil Company Mohsen Qamsari said Iran sent a 2-million-barrel crude oil consignment to Poland last week.

Speaking to Shana, the official unveiled details about the shipment, saying the spot consignment left Kharg Oil Terminal last year.

He said the delivery was made after three months of talks between National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Poland's Lotos Refinery, adding signing a long-term deal between the two sides depends on the conditions of both of them.

"We are currently in talks with made customers, including from Europe, whose frustration so probable," the official said when asked whether crude oil exports are under way to European destinations from Iran.

Poland buys 90% (400,000b/d) of its crude imports and 60% of its natural gas imports from Russia, but is planning to diversify its energy supply sources.
