The Planning and Supervisor of Hydrocarbon Reserves Department of the petroleum ministry has announced that Iran's total export of crude oil and gas condensate (ultralight oil) under the Rouhani administration grew dramatically and more than doubled in the 2.5 years that the new administration is running in Iran.
According to a report by the department, Iran has also boosted its condensate output by 37% during the same period.
On Tuesday, Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh told a parliament session that the country's crude oil output has crossed 3.8 million barrels per day with over 2 million barrels being exported to foreign destinations.
The boost comes as Tehran struck a landmark deal with world powers over its nuclear program in Vienna in 2015.
