Speaking to Shana on Saturday, he noted that from the beginning of previous Iranian calendar year (ended March 19, 2016), Iran started export of gas oil, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Kerosene, jet fuel and Mazot and it has planned to become sustainable exporter of all types of oil products till next year.
Iran aims to add gasoline to the list of its exports and by completion of construction of the Persian Gulf Star and Bandar Abbas Oil Refineries, Iran will become an exporter of this oil product, the official added.
He said that Iran’s consumption of gasoline stands at an average of 72 million liters per day but now produces 64 million liters per day and imports 8 million liters.
