Speaking with Shana, Samari said that a major part of iran’s oil industry items had to be supplied from foreign producers while the items can be much more easily supplied from Iranian producers given the advances they have made in recent years and under the sanctions.
“During the fair, we will not deprive ourselves of foreign technologies, however, because the technologies can save us energy which is a top concern for NIOC,” he added.
The official further called on the Iranian consumers to mind energy use optimization, saying that Iran only being the world’s biggest holder of natural gas reserves does not mean Iranians can overuse natural resources.
