On the day, Iranian vehicles consumed 79.1ml of fuel, down 4% year-on-year.
Tehran, the capital, consumed 10.9ml of fuel while Isfahan, another big Iranian city, consumed 6.2ml and southern province of Fars used up to 5.3ml of fuel on the day.
Consumption of gasoil declined 13% on the day reaching 47.4ml on the day.
