NIOC pushes fast rebuild of war-damaged South Pars gas facilities

SHANA (Tehran) – The head of the National Iranian Oil Company called for an accelerated rebuilding effort at South Pars gas field refineries damaged in recent attacks, saying the facilities must be restored to operation as quickly as possible using domestic contractors and manufacturers while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

According to the National Iranian Oil Company, CEO Hamid Bovard traveled to Assaluyeh and Kangan for a one-day visit, touring refineries in Phases 9 and 10, 4 and 5, and 14 of South Pars — all damaged in the recent strikes. He reviewed the latest progress on safety measures, debris removal and reconstruction at the sites.

During the visit, Bovard thanked employees, contractors and others involved in the rebuilding effort and stressed the importance of relying heavily on domestic contractors and manufacturers, following safety requirements closely, and upholding quality standards at every stage of the work.

He also called for continuous coordination among operational units to speed up reconstruction, emphasizing the need to bring the damaged refineries back to full operation swiftly to ensure the country's gas production continues without interruption.
