The platform has the capacity to process 35,000 b/d of oil. It was installed on Tuesday.

The operations for the load-out of the platform started nearly a month ago.

The platform would process oil recovered from seven oil wells in the South Pars field.

Installation of this platform would allow production from the oil layer of South Pars next year.

The oil layer of South Pars is being operated by Petroiran Development Company (PEDCO). The contractors are National Iranian Oil Company and Iran Offshore Industries Company.
