According to the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), the 30th JMC meeting was held Tuesday in Tehran with representatives from the committee, along with experts from the engineering and development and production supervision departments of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
Participants reviewed the latest progress across the project's technical, engineering, operational and production activities. The two sides also discussed project implementation, future plans and measures to accelerate ongoing work.
Majid Najarian, the project's executive manager, said the meeting was held in a constructive and collaborative atmosphere. He said the opening session included a report outlining the employer's expectations for improving project execution, ensuring timely financing and accelerating operations, particularly by the Russian contractor, ZN Vostok. He added that officials also reviewed the project's current status, production performance and ZN Vostok's plans to recover delays, especially those affecting key projects following recent incidents.
Najarian said that, alongside the meeting, a ceremony was held at ZN Vostok's Integrated Production Management Control Center to mark the startup of Well CK-26. Following employer approval, the well entered production with a capacity of up to 5,500 barrels of crude oil per day.
He said the committee also reviewed specialized technical issues related to the project. After concluding discussions and incorporating members' comments, the committee finalized and signed the minutes of its 30th meeting.
The Cheshmeh Khosh, Dalpari and Paydar-e Sharq oil fields development project is located in the Dasht Abbas operational area of Dehloran County in Ilam Province. It is the second contract awarded under Iran's Integrated Petroleum Contract (IPC) framework and was signed with Russia's ZN Vostok. The project is currently producing a record 126,000 barrels of crude oil per day and is progressing in line with the field's Development, Production and Operation Plan (DPOP).
