NIOC marks leadership transition in structural engineering management

SHANA (Tehran) – The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) appointed Mohammad-Hassan Amini as the Caretaker of Structural Engineering Management during an official ceremony held alongside the company's Board of Directors meeting.

According to NIOC, the appointment ceremony also marked the departure of Shahriar Aqaei-Nasab, the former head of the department, who was recognized for his years of dedicated service.

Speaking at the event, Hamid Bovard, CEO of NIOC, highlighted Amini's strong technical background and extensive experience within the Structural Engineering Management division. He described Amini as a highly qualified professional developed within the organization and expressed confidence that his expertise and analytical approach would contribute significantly to his new role.

Bovard also praised Aqaei-Nasab for his valuable contributions throughout his career, noting that his retirement marks the end of a distinguished period of service. He added that the company hopes to continue benefiting from Aqaei-Nasab's knowledge and experience through future advisory cooperation.

In his remarks, Amini thanked the NIOC CEO and the Minister of Oil for their confidence in his appointment. He described the Structural Engineering Management department as the CEO's advisory and expert body for organizational design and improvement. He explained that the department focuses on two key areas: organizational structure and development, and productivity, performance management, and organizational excellence, describing them as two closely interconnected pillars of the organization's mission.

Aqaei-Nasab, reflecting on the conclusion of his career, said his years of service were shaped by valuable experience, teamwork, and collaboration with colleagues and senior executives across NIOC. He also expressed appreciation to the Minister of Oil, the NIOC CEO, and other senior managers for their trust and support throughout his tenure.
