No Plan to Raise Fuel Prices

TEHRAN Dec 12 (Shana)--The government has no intention to increase prices of gasoline and gasoil, the government spokesman said.

Mohammad-Baqer Nobakht said the parliament has agreed to the allocation of IRR 480 trillion for fuel sector.

The price of gasoline has been increasing since 2008 when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was president.

The fuel prices were last raised in April.

Nobakht also dismissed allegations of withdrawal of $4.2 billion from the National Development Fund of Iran.
