NIDC Spuds 169 Wells in One Year

TEHRAN August 25 (Shana)--National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) has drilled 169 wells during the past one year, the head of NIDC said.

Heydar Bahmani said the wells included 148 onshore and 21 offshore wells in more than ten oil-rich provinces.
He said 70 of the drilled wells were development wells, 83 were repair wells, 14 were appraisal and two were exploration wells.
Bahmani said NIDC offers all technical services including downhole logging, cementing, acidizing, coil tubing, nitrogen injection, pipe-laying, underbalanced drilling, coring, horizontal and directional drilling, air drilling and well completion.
He said NIDC is currently drilling 50 wells in South Azadegan field, 22 wells in Yaran field, 7 wells in Azar field and a number of wells in North Azadegan.
