Speaking Monday at a meeting on energy supply for industries and power plants ahead of the summer and winter seasons, Mousa Ahmadi said effective measures were taken last year to secure electricity and energy supplies through close cooperation between the Oil Ministry and the Energy Ministry. He noted that both ministries expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of their joint efforts.
The meeting was attended by members of the Parliament’s Energy Committee, Mohammad-Sadeq Azimifar, deputy oil minister for refining and distribution affairs, and officials from the Energy Ministry.
Ahmadi also praised employees of Iran’s refining and distribution sector for their efforts during the Third Imposed War, saying that, thanks to advance planning, authorities expect to navigate the summer season without major disruptions while simultaneously preparing to meet winter fuel demand.
During the session, Energy Ministry officials outlined their requirements and plans regarding fuel supplies for power plants and discussed other related issues.
