In a decree issued yesterday, Iranian minister of petroleum Bijan Namdar Zanganeh appointed Javadi as the NIOC’s top executive and thanked Qalebani for his services during his tenure as NIOC’s managing director. 

Zanganeh also named 9 members of NIOC’s board of directors comprising Roknoddin Javadi, Habib Aminfar, Hormoz Qalavand, Abdolhamid Delparish, Mohsen Qamsari and Hamid Bourd as the main members and Mahmoud Firouzmand, Mohammad Ali Emadi and Seyyed Asghar Hendi as the alternative members of board of directors of NIOC.

Earlier Zanganeh had appointed Abbas Sheri Moqqadam and Hamid Reza Araqi respectively as managing director of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) and managing director of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC).
