Hossein Dehqan, speaking at a press conference on Monday, on the sidelines of the Iran Project exhibition, elaborated on the foundation's role in repairing damaged infrastructure within the oil industry. He said that following damage to some facilities in the South Pars region, the foundation's technical teams were deployed alongside the Ministry of Oil to expedite the repair and resumption of production. These efforts are ongoing.
Dehqan also confirmed the foundation's involvement in the reconstruction of certain subsidiaries of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company. He added that the foundation can assist the Ministry of Oil in supplying necessary items and equipment for these projects.
Highlighting the foundation's broader engagement in the oil sector, Dehqan stated that the foundation currently operates the country's second-largest onshore and offshore drilling fleet and is working to strengthen this capacity.
Furthermore, he mentioned that the foundation collaborates with the Ministry of Oil on national projects related to oil exploration and production, emphasizing the country's need for such cooperation.
In the infrastructure domain, Dehqan noted the foundation's participation in specific support and executive plans, aligning with its mission and contributing to the enhancement of national capabilities.
The head of the Mostazafan Foundation concluded by affirming that all of the foundation's resources will be mobilized to aid in the reconstruction of infrastructure, production units, and war-affected areas to accelerate the return to normalcy.
