According to the company, CEO Hamid Bovard said on the sidelines of a board meeting that digital transformation is becoming increasingly important in the exploration sector.
He said the use of modern technologies and AI in analyzing and interpreting seismic data offers a shortcut to faster and more precise results, ultimately lowering the costs of complex and strategic seismic operations.
Bovard stressed the importance of expanding technology-driven approaches in the oil industry, adding that smarter exploration processes could enhance productivity, improve project success rates and accelerate specialized decision-making.
Book on Exploration Pioneers Unveiled
During part of the meeting dedicated to unveiling the book “Exploration Pioneers,” Bovard highlighted the oil industry’s role in the country’s social and economic developments and described documenting its history as essential for future generations.
He said the interviews and experiences compiled in the book represent a valuable legacy and can also serve as a reliable and inspiring resource for strategic planning and decision-making in the oil industry.
Bovard also pointed to the role played by oil industry workers during critical periods in the country’s history, describing the Iran-Iraq War as a unique period comparable in importance to the turbulent days of the 1979 Islamic Revolution and oil workers’ strikes, events he said had a major impact on the country’s political and social developments.
He said efforts are underway to properly document and preserve the sacrifices and achievements of oil industry workers during those difficult years so they remain part of the nation’s historical memory.
