Mohsen Paknejad said Monday, on the sidelines of a gasoline task force meeting attended by the first vice president, that production did not decline during the 40-day war and exports continued properly and smoothly.
He said challenges emerged in the days after the blockade, but added that measures were taken and the effort is continuing.
Gasoline consumption management
At the meeting, the oil minister also said many countries that were not involved in the third imposed war had moved to managing gasoline consumption. He said Iran’s gasoline production infrastructure was damaged by the enemy as one side of the war, so consumption must be managed to avoid the need for imports.
