Rouhollah Izadkhah said employees of the Oil Ministry showed great bravery during the conflict. He added that even now, despite a ceasefire and a naval blockade by the enemy, the oil industry remains a primary target of attacks but continues to stand firm.
Izadkhah said the Oil Ministry has taken appropriate measures in oil production and exports with full vigilance and is ready for all scenarios. He added that damaged oil facilities are expected to be rebuilt as quickly as possible with support from the government, parliament and other decision-making bodies.
The lawmaker also said public participation could be used to help rebuild damaged oil facilities, noting that this approach is included in the country’s seventh development plan.
