Oil Ministry’s wartime service to people called commendable

SHANA (Tehran) – The head of Parliament’s Energy Committee said the committee stands with the Oil Ministry, adding that the ministry was among the country’s top service providers to the people during the third imposed war.

Mousa Ahmadi spoke Tuesday on the sidelines of a meeting between Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad and Energy Committee members. Ahmadi thanked the minister, his deputies and active oil industry staff in operational and administrative sectors for working to ensure people face no problems receiving fuel and energy.

Ahmadi said he had recently visited Iran’s oil facilities and witnessed oil industry staff standing firm even in areas hit by enemy missile strikes to ensure energy operations ran properly.

The committee head said Oil Ministry officials provided a satisfactory report to lawmakers, noting that the ministry’s actions during the 40-day war and the cease-fire period were highly valuable.

Ahmadi said Energy Committee members have always stood with the Oil Ministry, adding that while Iran fought the enemy for 40 days, people faced no fuel shortages — an achievement worthy of appreciation. He described the Oil Ministry as a well-integrated organization with commendable management performance and said the ministry ranked among the top government agencies in serving the people during the third imposed war.
