According to the company, the research project titled “Study of Biological Methods for Controlling Water, Air and Soil Pollution to Enhance Environmental Sustainability,” led by Fariba Gorjizadeh, a sustainable development researcher and company specialist, has been recorded on the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) partnerships platform. The project emphasizes the use of bioremediation methods to reduce environmental impacts in oil operations and was previously published in the international journal Water, Air & Soil Pollution.
The scientific achievement aligns with Iran’s 1405 (2026-27) national slogan, “A Resilient Economy Through National Unity and Security.” Achieving independence in environmental technologies and reducing reliance on foreign technologies are key pillars of a resilient economy, helping ensure national security and strength in environmental and energy sectors. The accomplishment, driven by domestic expertise, highlights the link between scientific advancement and national security.
