According to a report by the Isfahan Oil Refining Company, Mohammad-Sadeq Azimifar said Friday (April 10) in a meeting with a group of managers and officials from the Isfahan refinery, the Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company, and the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company in the Isfahan region that their performance in managing crisis conditions, maintaining production and ensuring stable fuel supply was commendable.
He noted that the efforts of refining and distribution sector employees during the 40-day war represented a form of economic jihad, adding that the front line of the country’s economic battle is now in the field of fuel supply.
Refinery Workers on the Front Line of Production and Distribution
Azimifar said his recent visits to refineries in Isfahan, Shiraz, Lavan and Bandar Abbas were aimed at appreciating the round-the-clock efforts of employees. He added that during the war with the Zionist-American enemy, workers on the front lines of production and distribution fulfilled their critical duties despite challenges and threats.
He emphasized that public calm is a red line for the Oil Ministry and stressed the importance of maintaining the morale and determination of employees, describing them as the “engine driving society.” He added that strict monitoring of fuel distribution is necessary and that coordination among all operational sectors is essential to maintain stability and security in the gasoline supply network.
