The message from Mohsen Paknejad reads in part:
“This year, on the eve of March 20, the anniversary of the nationalization of Iran’s oil industry, the spring of nature coincides with the spring of the Quran, bringing solace to believers. These are days of pride, even as we mourn the loss of our martyred leader and high‑ranking military and civilian officials.
“The steadfastness and unity of the Iranian people in the face of foreign aggressors have always shone like a golden page in history. Paired with the strength and remarkable capabilities of our courageous armed forces, this promises great victories ahead.
“You, the dedicated employees of the oil industry and faithful children of this land, stand at the forefront of service and economic struggle. In the most difficult circumstances, you have shown that service is the most sublime expression of worship.
“With appreciation for the tireless efforts of colleagues across all areas of the oil sector, I extend congratulations on Eid al‑Fitr and the arrival of Ancient Nowruz 1405, and I pray for the dignity, honor and success of the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields, especially in its struggle against American and Zionist adversaries.”
