Fuel supply, distribution network prepared for Nowruz travel peak

SHANA (Tehran) - The spokesperson for Iran’s fuel station operators said the country’s fuel supply and distribution network is fully prepared ahead of the Nowruz holidays, noting that fuel stations nationwide are operating 24 hours a day with no reported disruptions.

Reza Navaz said stations across the country will remain open around the clock during the holiday period. He added that the fuel supply chain is currently functioning normally, and no issues have been reported in any region.
He emphasized the network’s readiness for the upcoming holiday surge, saying fuel production, transfer and transport teams are all working to ensure uninterrupted service. According to Navaz, stations will continue providing fuel 24/7.
Navaz also noted that no fuel‑supply problems have been reported from any part of the country, and that fuel consumption has recently decreased as most people visit stations only when necessary.
He added that special measures have been put in place for the holiday period to ensure citizens do not face fuel shortages, especially gasoline, anywhere in the country.
