The directive, which was circulated Thursday, also begins with condolences for the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Khamenei.
According to the memorandum from the Office for the Compilation and Coordination of Administrative and Employment Regulations, the new rules aim to ensure the continuation of services in relevant sectors while maintaining the security and peace of staff.
Under the new protocols, which will remain in effect until conditions return to normal, companies and administrative offices will operate with a normal workday for employees, with the exception of operational units, hospitals, health centers, relief services and other service sectors.
Key provisions of the directive include:
• Managers and relevant officials must plan for remote work arrangements to ensure that essential services are provided without interruption, maintaining an appropriate number of staff on-site.
• Priority for remote work will be given to employees with disabilities, pregnant women, those with disabled children or children under six, and staff with heart or respiratory conditions or incurable diseases.
• Decisions by provincial governors, in coordination with company managing directors, will be implemented to manage the continuity of services at the Oil Ministry and its subsidiaries, based on local conditions and within legal frameworks.
• The holding of in-person conferences and events, as well as sending employees on non-essential missions, is prohibited. Exceptions require approval from the managing director of the main company and permission from the minister. Necessary administrative meetings, training courses and specialized sessions will be held in compliance with security guidelines.
The directive states that responsibility for the proper implementation of these instructions lies with the managing directors of the main companies.
