NIOC appoints deputy for trade and international affairs

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company appointed Mohammad-Hassan Mohammadi as deputy for trade and international affairs, aiming to strengthen financial and commercial discipline in the company’s international operations and its subsidiary, NICO.

In a decree issued by Hamid Bovard, Mohammadi was tasked with enhancing transparency, streamlining operations and improving the quality of activities related to crude oil and petroleum products trading.

The order cited Mohammadi’s commitment, expertise and experience, and called for close coordination with relevant departments to implement appropriate measures to establish financial and commercial discipline within the International Affairs Management and NICO.

Bovard expressed hope for Mohammadi’s success in carrying out his new responsibilities.
