According to Pars Oil and Gas Company, Zabiḥollah Khodaeian on Wednesday during a visit to Asaluyeh highlighted the important role of South Pars in creating public welfare and energy security, telling operational staff: “All the people of Iran benefit from the great work you do on the gas platforms and refineries.”

He stated that the stable supply of gas as feedstock for petrochemical complexes plays a key role in generating wealth, creating jobs and earning foreign currency for the country, adding: “These efforts are a symbol of the solidarity of the oil industry in serving the people and the economy of Iran.”

The head of the General Inspection Organization noted that all operational sectors of South Pars are working under difficult conditions, emphasizing: “Those responsible for extracting gas from the shared South Pars field on the gas platforms endure greater hardships due to existing conditions, and suitable welfare conditions must be provided for them.”

Need to follow up on operational staff problems

Khodaeian stressed the need to follow up on the problems of operational staff, especially specialists working on offshore platforms, saying: “In line with the mission of the General Inspection Organization, while supervising the performance of officials, we will strive to help the production sector and solve welfare issues for platform and operational area staff.”

During a visit to the surplus goods warehouse of South Pars phases, he also pointed to measures taken to organize goods warehouses in South Pars, saying: “Organizing these goods is a valuable measure that leads to optimal use of existing commodity capacity and economic value creation, and is commendable.”

The head of the General Inspection Organization stated that oil industry managers, as soldiers and commanders in the economic war, play an important role in the country's economy, saying: “Safeguarding South Pars is a national duty and must be considered comprehensively.”
