According to the National Iranian South Oilfields Company (NISOC), Ramin Hatami, the head of the company announced the above on Sunday, calling the event as an appropriate opportunity for collaboration as well as showcasing potentials of NTBFs and academic sector of the country to be updated on standards and needs of petroleum industry.
A sum of 10 contracts have been signed by the NISOC on supplying goods, along with four research pacts with Iranian NTBFs, manufacturers and academic centers on the sidelines of the exhibition, the CEO stressed.
The Ahvaz exhibition is underway during Jan. 10-13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Khuzestan Permanent International Exhibition Center. It hosts companies, manufacturers, contractors and other stakeholders active in oil industry equipment manufacturing.
The 16th edition of the specialized event, featuring domestic manufacturers, new technology-based firms and industrial equipment producers, provides a platform to showcase local manufacturing capabilities, exchange technical expertise, expand industrial and commercial cooperation, and increase the share of domestic producers in oil industry projects.
As one of the country’s major industrial events, the Khuzestan Oil Industry Equipment Manufacturing Exhibition plays a key role in advancing self-sufficiency policies, supporting national production and enhancing local manufacturing capacity in the oil sector.
