A review of statistics from the National Iranian Gas Company shows that despite fluctuating temperatures in the third week of the Iranian month of Dey (Jan. 3-Jan. 9), consumption in these sectors increased on some days and saw a decreasing trend toward the end of the period.
Accordingly, consumption reached 621 million cubic meters on Saturday, January 3. This figure rose to 655 million cubic meters on Sunday, Jan. 4.
Consumption rose to 662 million cubic meters on Monday, and the daily consumption hit 650 million on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The report states consumption decreased to 637 million cubic meters on Thursday, Jan. 8, and the downward trend continued on Friday, Jan. 9, with a recorded 608 million cubic meters.
