A review of statistics from the National Iranian Gas Company shows that despite fluctuating temperatures in the second week of the Iranian month of Dey (Dec. 27-Jan. 2), consumption in these sectors increased on some days and saw a decreasing trend toward the end of the period.
Accordingly, consumption reached 643 million cubic meters on Saturday, Dec. 27. This figure rose to 650 million cubic meters on Sunday, Dec. 28.
Consumption fell to 639 million cubic meters on Monday, Dec. 29, but saw a noticeable increase to 664 million on Tuesday, Dec. 30. The highest consumption for the period, 690 million cubic meters, was recorded on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
The report states consumption decreased to 656 million cubic meters on Thursday, Jan. 1, and the downward trend continued on Friday, Jan. 2, with a recorded 621 million cubic meters.
