Consumption stood at 621 million cubic meters a day earlier, on Jan. 3, indicating a noticeable increase as temperatures dropped further.
The company said adherence to consumption guidelines and the use of standard heating equipment play a key role in maintaining network stability and preventing added strain during peak demand periods.
The National Iranian Gas Co. stressed that effective demand management in the household and commercial sectors is critical to sustaining the gas network and meeting the needs of other sectors. It urged consumers to conserve energy and follow optimal usage patterns to help ensure a stable gas supply nationwide.
