According to PIN, STPC managing director, Ali-Mohammad Bossagh-Zadeh, added rising its production capacity, the complex at present could also handle the demands of 20 foreign markets.

He went on the production of primary materials required to produce bottles and meet the needs of textile industry of the country are necessary consequences of establishing STPC.

"In order to meet the needs of the country and considering the added-value of the products, it was planned to establish the second phase of the complex to produce PTA and PET."

"Each of the STPC units produces 350000 tons of PTA and PET annually."

Bossagh-Zadeh continued 70% of the STPC production capacity has been exported to some foreign markets including China and European countries last year.

"The complex aims at exporting its products to many countries as France, UK, Italy, Poland, China, Yemen, India and Turkey."

"Some $1.2bn has been invested so far and another $100000 to $150000 should be invested on other areas including power dividing units of industrial disposal."
