According to the company, as an unprecedented cold wave swept the country, average daily diesel deliveries to power plants during the first five days of the Iranian month of Dey rose by about 30 percent compared with the same period in 2024, reaching roughly 65 million liters per day.
The increase is aimed at securing fuel supplies for power plants to meet electricity demand. The company said maintaining a stable fuel supply for power generation requires cross-sector cooperation and coordination among all relevant agencies and institutions.
