According to Shana, citing the South Pars Gas Complex, Gholamabbas Hosseini said colder weather in the coming days and rising gas demand have prompted heightened readiness across all 13 refineries. He said gas production remains fully stable and uninterrupted thanks to continuous efforts by specialized staff.

Hosseini noted that the South Pars Gas Complex, as the country’s largest gas production hub, plays a key role in ensuring reliable energy supplies, particularly during winter. He said careful planning, preventive maintenance, timely procurement of equipment and ongoing coordination between operational and support units have created the conditions needed to safely navigate the cold season.

Emphasizing the public’s role in managing energy consumption, Hosseini said that while gas industry workers are making every effort to ensure stable gas supplies, successfully meeting winter peak demand is not possible without public cooperation. He said observing consumption guidelines, setting heating systems to appropriate temperatures, properly insulating homes and avoiding unnecessary use all contribute to maintaining the stability of the gas network.

Hosseini thanked employees of the South Pars Gas Complex and other workers across the gas industry and called on the public to use gas responsibly and efficiently to ensure fair access to this national resource and to help the industry safely overcome the cold days ahead.
