Hassan Mousavi, spokesman for the NIGC, said public cooperation in managing consumption and following efficient usage patterns is critical to ensuring gas supplies for power plants and productive industries during the winter.
He urged residents to help curb demand by keeping indoor temperatures at 20 degrees Celsius, setting package heaters between 50 and 60 degrees Celsius, wearing warmer clothing, sealing window gaps, installing thick curtains and covering evaporative cooler vents.
