Organizational redesign begins at NIORDC

SHANA (Tehran) – A deputy oil minister said the process to redesign the organizational structure of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company has begun, in line with the company’s strategic plan and the Seventh Development Plan law.

According to the company, Mohammad-Sadeq Azimifar said the overhaul aims to boost efficiency, increase organizational agility and strengthen decision-making. Under the new structure, he said, direct reporting lines to the CEO will be reduced, while targeted delegation of authority will reinforce the role and standing of middle management.

Azimifar stressed that the reforms fully comply with relevant laws and overarching policy documents, adding that productivity requirements, corporate governance and institutional accountability are core pillars of the redesign.

He said the new structure will be developed using modern governance tools and a process-oriented approach to ensure the company’s missions are carried out more effectively and in alignment with national priorities.
