Mohsen Paknejad met Monday with Belarusian Industry Minister Andrei Kuznetsov to discuss expanding joint cooperation in energy, industry and petrochemicals.
During the meeting, Paknejad highlighted what he described as strong potential for collaboration between the two countries, particularly in the energy sector. “Iran is a land of golden investment opportunities, especially in oil and gas,” he said, adding that Iran has developed a set of upstream contracts designed to create “win-win opportunities” for both sides.
Kuznetsov, noting that this was his first visit to Iran, said he felt positive about the trip and emphasized the importance of pursuing previous cooperation agreements. He said Belarus is ready to expand work with Iran in all sectors, especially petrochemicals and the export of products and catalysts to Belarus.
