TEHRAN -- The fourth aromatic plan, the biggest in the world, started its experimental production in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone, southern Iran, said the managing director of the Borzuyeh Petrochemical Company on Saturday.

With an exports capacity of 22 thousand tons of heavy end product, the aromatic unit consists of 11 parexylene, orthoxylene, benzene, raffinite, heavy aromatics, liquefied gas, light and heavy hydrocarbons, and pentane cut production sections, Hamidreza Rostami added.

The complex has produced 13 thousands tons of light end, 25 thousands tons of heart cut, and 30 thousands tons of heavy end, he said in a Mehr report.

The company is scheduled to export its production and the heavy end products have been sold in advance, added the official.

Totally $624 million has been invested in the project, Rostami said.
