SCI: Oil accounts for 23.7% of economic growth in H1
SHANA (Tehran) – Iran’s economy grew 0.1% with oil and contracted 0.5% without oil in the first six months of 1404, according to new data from the Statistical Center of Iran. The figures show that oil contributed 23.7% to Iran’s economic growth this summer, meaning roughly one-quarter of the country’s overall growth came from the oil sector.

SHANA (Tehran) – The Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) has reported a 3% economic growth for the country in 1403 (ended March 20) when including oil, and 2.1% without it.

SCI: Iran’s GDP grows 3.1% in nine months, fueled by oil sector
TEHRAN, Iran – According to the latest quarterly national accounts released by the Statistical Center of Iran, the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) at constant 1400 prices grew by 3.1% year-over-year in the first nine months of the Iranian calendar year 1403 (March 20–December 20, 2024), including oil. Excluding oil, GDP grew by 2.2% during the same period.
