Iran economic team reviews unified strategy for China relations

SHANA (Tehran) – Iran’s special representative for China held his first meeting with key economic ministers, including the oil minister, to discuss ways to strengthen coordination and adopt a unified approach toward advancing relations with China.

Parliament sends 1405  budget bill to gov't

SHANA (Tehran) — Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf  officially transmitted Iran’s national budget for the year 1405 to the government.  

‘Fuel price changes are within the government’s legal authority’

SHANA (Tehran) – The Parliament speaker said the legislature has delegated all decision-making on fuel prices to the government, adding that any action the administration takes in this regard falls within its legal authority.

Economic reform impossible without energy reform

SHANA (Tehran) — Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf said Monday that economic reforms cannot succeed without first implementing energy reforms, stressing that while prices must reflect real costs, raising them without a comprehensive plan would be misguided.

Gov’t should address energy imbalance with a logical plan

SHANA (Tehran) – Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf stressed that resolving the energy imbalance is an urgent and fundamental duty of the government, saying the public must be assured that the government has a logical plan for this issue and that the first economic benefits will go to the people.
