Oil industry to hold first ‘Administrative Health Week’

SHANA (Tehran) – The head of the Committee for Promoting Administrative Health and Combating Economic Corruption in the oil industry announced the launch of the first “Administrative Health Week” in the industry’s history, calling its coordinated implementation an important step toward preventing economic corruption and improving organizational efficiency.

Masoud Rahimi told Shana that “Administrative Health Week in the Oil Industry” will be held with the participation of administrative health and anti-corruption committees, relevant subcommittees, and the human resources, public relations and inspection departments of the Oil Ministry, as well as its major, subsidiary and affiliated companies. He said the initiative, scheduled from Wednesday, Dec. 9, to Tuesday, Dec. 15, is expected to help institutionalize a culture of administrative integrity across the oil industry through a series of educational, cultural and technical programs.

He added that during the week, the performance of administrative health committees in major, subsidiary and affiliated companies will be evaluated, and a report on improvements to processes will be presented at the Administrative Health Conference for the oil industry.

Rahimi, who also serves as director general for inspection, performance monitoring and complaint handling at the Oil Ministry, said the conference will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the Shahid Beheshti Hall as the closing ceremony of Administrative Health Week. Top-performing committees in the field of administrative health will be recognized at the event.

Rahimi emphasized that the coordinated execution of Administrative Health Week marks an important step toward preventing economic corruption, enhancing organizational productivity and advancing the government’s broader policies.

According to Shana, Administrative Health Week in the oil industry will be held Dec. 9–15 in line with the Oil Ministry’s strategic policies to strengthen a culture of administrative integrity and prevent corruption. The initiative coincides for the first time with International Anti-Corruption Day and aims to promote transparency, accountability and improved administrative governance.
