According to the company, Touraj Dehqani, during a visit to the plant’s two operating units and the construction stages of its third steam unit, said the project has made solid progress in recent months.
He noted that the plant’s first and second combined-cycle units reached full capacity earlier this year, adding that installation of equipment for the second unit was completed in three months — a notable achievement compared with the typical five- to six-month schedule.
Dehqani expressed hope that the third steam unit will also be completed and come online by the end of the year.
During the visit, Ebrahim Soleimani Babadi, who oversees power plant and transmission line projects at Pars Oil and Gas Company, highlighted ongoing work and said installation of boilers 5 and 6 for the plant’s third unit is nearing completion.
