TEHRAN – Petrochemical exports from Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex have reached 745 million dollars during eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2005).
During the said period, 1.468 million tons of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complexs products have been sent to Asian, European and Arab countries, up by 5 percent compared to the corresponding figure of the preceding year.
Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex is currently implementing development plans to boost production capacity of olefin, and high density polyethylene plants and to build an NF3 plant.
During the same period, the complex spent 29 million dollars, of which 23.5 million dollars was spent on purchasing spare parts and chemicals.
Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex is Irans biggest petrochemical complex, which produces 30 types of petrochemicals.
